Company description
East Africa Cans & Closures Ltd (EACC) is a leading manufacturer, specializing in customized branded packaging tin cans and closures for various industries. The company started from humble beginnings in 2005 as a small manufacturing plant and has, ever since, expanded gradually to provide our customers with a wider range of product possibilities ensuring we deliver to a high-quality standard to exceed the expectations of our customers.
EACC has commissioned a single color lithographic printing line with an automated conveyor oven system, multiple automatic and manual press lines, multiple slitting lines as well as canning lines. Therefore, EACC is able to provide a consistent supply of customized branded packaging tin cans and closures for a diverse range of industries. These
EACC obtains its raw material from all around the world including Germany, Belgium, India, China and South Africa among others, and supplies manufactured products throughout the Kenyan, Ugandan, Tanzanian and Australian markets. Currently stocking a range of tinplate thicknesses between 0.16mm to 0.24mm.
The reason why our customers select tin cans in their packaging is that they are stronger than cartons or plastic, and less fragile than glass, protecting the product in transit and preventing leakage or spillage. Tin cans offer a barrier protection against light, water, air and contamination, safeguarding flavour, appearance and quality from factory to the final consumer. Packaging in tin cans also extends the product’s shelf life, allowing longer sell-by and use-by dates and reducing waste. Tinplate is made of steel, coated with a layer of tin through a process of electroplating fortifying it against rust and most importantly fully recyclable.
