Ashwin Brothers - Nairobi, Kenya

The firm was started by the late Ramanbhai Chaturbhai Patel in 1968. His aim was to start an accounting firm which will have to be taken over by his children in future.

Accordingly he named it Aswin Brothers. However some of his sons opted for different professions so that it was only Mr. Ashwinbhai Ramanbhai Patel who joined his late father in the firm.

The firm was situated at Nairobi House at the junction of Kenyatta Avenue and Moi Avenue opposite the Barclays Bank. It was later joined by a group of professional so that it was converted into a partnership.

As the staff and work load increased,a larger space had to be looked for. The firm then relocated to Westlands from the city center and occupied offices above Westland’s self selection stores building in

1980’s.

With the demise of the late Ramanbhai C. Patel his son, Mr. Ashwin R. Patel took charge of the firm. More new clients came to the firm and the staff also surged up.

It was therefore time to look for yet a larger space. The building was identified and the firm moved into the present premises located at-L.R.N-1870/111/156-Matundu Lane off School Lane-Westlands.

Upon dissolution of partnership in August 2000, Mr. Ashwin R. Patel took over the firm as a sole proprietor and changed the firms name from Aswin Brothers to Ashwin Brothers.

From that time on we have been going from strength to strength to have witnessed a steady growth of new clients joining our firm.

Today Ashwin Brothers has 5 partners with around 80 personnel on Board.
