i have never before been so insulted by a customer care agent as i was by the one at dinku. i proceeded to Mombasa road where they are located to check out some of their sofas as i needed to refurbish my living room and patio. after the pics i had seen on their website, i expected something akin to Victoria courts if not a bit homelier. what i saw instead was a dusty warehouse with none of the gloss and charm depicted in the numerous posts on their Facebook page. take heart, i told myself. i ordered a sofa based on a pic i saw on the net. the guy there, Dennis, was all too eager to get started and assured me they would have it delivered to me after 2 weeks, all i had to do was pay the deposit and then leave them my contacts so they can get back to me once it once it was ready. i was very skeptical about the whole leaving a deposit, but then Dennis quickly assured me that i did not have to if i felt uncomfortable, that i could just pay when the sofa was done.. on follow up after patiently waiting for 2 and a half weeks, i decided to call and check on the progress only for the person on the other end to call me a complainer and impatient!! i had waited 2 weeks plus with no call and she dares call me impatient?? to cut the review short, after much haggling, i decided to purchase my sofa elsewhere. i felt sooo glad i had not made that deposit, can you imagine the back and forth i would have had to endure? to those dinku marketers on facebook, please close that page, it's useless to have one if you cannot deliver what you promise.
