Company description
The Kenya Bankers Association (KBA) was established on July 16th, 1962 by the Registrar of Trade Unions. Initially, its main purpose was to represent the interests of member banks in negotiating terms and conditions of service for unionised employees, as well as to standardise management practices to ensure harmony in the industry. Over the years, KBA's mission has evolved to include encouraging industry development and economic growth by engaging the government and the sector regulator, the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK).
