To set the stage for rolling young boys &girls are already undergoing training at the warm grounds every Saturday and Sunday.
Kysa international soccer academy are the original sponsors of Kasarani youth sports association and is registered as a sports &Event Management organizers. It is registered in Kenya as a registered limited company under the laws of Kenya.
The program aims at empowering young people through sports to enable them fulfill their true potential and improve their lives in the coaching industry.
Kysa has use sports to bring an entire community together and has used soccer in particular to teach young people skills and instill values, while also using the sport as a vehicle for teaching social message.
More than anything, sports is a powerful motivator
Kysa has used soccer to address various social vices plying the youth. These include drugs and substance abuse, early childhood pregnancies, HIV/AIDS prevention, child labor and education.
Kysa uses the whole life coaching approach where youth are taught soccer and about life in general. The foundation uses the game as an outlet for young men to keep out of trouble and make them grow to be responsible citizens.
Kysa stands of its four pillars – Classroom, Community, Character and Competition.
The association operates from Kasarani Constituency in Nairobi, Kenya. It admits many vulnerable youth from the various slums in Nairobi including Babadogo, mathare, korogocho, githurai, lucky summer, ngomongo, mwiki and the sounding areas.
2.0 OBJECTIVES
The general objective of the Organization is to work towards a safer Nairobi while at the same time identify and nurture young soccer talent from the grassroots.
The specific objectives are:
(i) Identify and nurture soccer talent among the youth (girls and boys) in the country;
(ii) Impart life skills to the youth at an early age;
(iii) Provide activities for the youth that may delay the onset of engaging in sexual activities;
(iv) Provide activities for the youth that may deter them from engaging in drug abuse;
(v) Use football a vehicle to campaign against HIV/AIDS and drug abuse among youth in the country;
(vi) Promote the spirit of volunteering among the youth in the country.
