Position Summary: The Desk Coordinator is pivotal in managing operational aspects of the Housekeeping Department. This includes overseeing guest room assignments, maintaining room statuses, and handling guest requests efficiently to support seamless housekeeping operations.
- Ensure timely room preparation and cleanliness, manage room statuses, and communicate updates effectively across teams.
- Act swiftly on guest housekeeping requests ensuring satisfaction and adherence to standards.
- Facilitate communication across departments to ensure well-coordinated operations and guest services.
- Monitor housekeeping supplies and maintain required inventory levels.
- Support and organize housekeeping staff, manage shift schedules and oversee quality control.
- Engage with guests directly to address service-related inquiries and issues, maintaining high standards of guest service.
- Conduct administrative duties including tracking housekeeping operations and ensuring safety procedures are followed.
Qualifications: High school education or equivalent with experience in housekeeping or hotel management preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and technical skills are required.
