Job offer: Scoping Officer – Nairobi (1 year Contract)

Our client, a renowned water operator in Sub-Saharan Africa, seeks a Scoping Officer to join their team. The role involves identifying villages for the implementation of new water systems, managing negotiations related to land and infrastructure, and fostering community relationships. The successful candidate will also lead several engagement initiatives and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain communication with global leaders and update on plans and performance.
• Collaborate with East Africa teams for streamlined operations.
• Manage and support team members' professional growth and ensure goal clarity.
• Assess potential sites and maintain relationships with local leaders for project facilitation.
• Design and execute community engagement initiatives and support operational maintenance tasks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in project management with strong analytical and communication skills.
• Experience with project management tools is preferred.
• Must be willing to travel nationally as required.
