Review of ST FRANCIS GEKENDO SECONDARY SCHOOL

I was a Peace Corps Volunteer at Gekendo St. Francis Secondary School from 1978 to 1980. I was implemental in developing a science laboratory at the school, plus teaching all of the sciences which included chemistry, physics, and biology. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and found the parents, teachers, and students very kind and made me feel like one of them in the community. Probably the most rewarding experience of my life. I still think fondly of the people there to this day.
