I hired this lawyer to execute my father's last will and testament and she told me it would cost approximately ksh 252,000/- which I thought was high but paid her up front anyway.
She gave me and family a run around for two years missing several hearings and sending interns to court who had no clue what to say to the judge.
Eventually, the judge got fed up and was getting ready to close the case for inaction after two years and I was forced to get rid of her.
That was when my nightmare began.
I asked her to hand over the file to my new lawyer and she told me that I had to pay the balance of her fee. I asked her what balance she was talking about and that she owed me money because she was unable to complete the job at which she said she would send me the bill.
She then sent me a bill of ksh 344,000/- for a total of ksh 596,000/-
She told me she would not hand the file to the new lawyer untill paid in full leaving us with no way to move forward.
I wouldn't advice anyone to hire this crook for anything, including to sign a notary.
