Before any drilling process can commence, a hydrogeological survey must be conducted to inform us on how deep to drill. A permit from WRMA(water resources management authority) is then applied for. both the survey and the permits will cost a total of ksh.60000.
2. What is the cost of the actual drilling?
We drill at ksh. 7000 per metre. This is inclusive of the casing which could be made of steel or plastic depending on the lithology of the area.
