Basketball Without Limits - Nakuru, Kenya

Basketball Without Limits (BWL) is a group of passionate young people in Nakuru who have come together to make basketball accessible to everyone. The lack of available basketball courts in the town, particularly those open to the public, is what spurred the formation of the group. Furthermore, the Coronavirus pandemic has made this situation worse, as institutions are not allowed to allow access to their courts. This means that basketball can only be played at certain times, such as on weekends when there are no other activities taking place.

BWL aims to remove the barriers to playing basketball in Nakuru and has already begun to do so by providing basketballs and equipment to local clubs participating in the county league. They are now taking the next step by planning to build a public

basketball court that all basketball lovers can access without limits. To achieve this, they are asking for donations from organizations, donors, and well-wishers to help make this dream come true. If successful, it could transform the basketball scene in Nakuru and benefit the youth of the county and country.
