Integrating Development Towards Guided Parenthood (IDGP) - Nakuru, Kenya

Integrating Development towards Guided Parenthood (IDGP) is a charitable organization registered in April 2008 under the Non-Government Organization (NGO) Act 1990. Under the management of experienced volunteers with expertise in peace building and conflict transformation, child rights and protection, and environmental issues, the organization works in Taita Taveta and Nakuru Counties to provide solutions to community issues related to family, environmental, and peace and conflict. To further this goal, IDGP has developed the Badilisha Maisha Mtaani Initiative, a crime and violence prevention measure designed to reach out to the children and youth at risk in Nakuru City's informal settlements.

Non-Violent Approach (ANVA) to help them to distance themselves from serious crimes and violence. It also focuses on enhancing mental health and wellbeing by addressing physical and psychological harm, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), caused by human rights violations and extrajudicial killings. Ultimately, the project's purpose is to create a paradigm shift of the mindset among young genders and to impact the elimination of all forms of crime and violence against everyone.
