Company description
We are a community project established in 2006 to mentor young girls ages 10-19 because we feel today’s youth needs the older generation to pour wisdom back into their lives. Our volunteers are young women who are dedicated to working closely with girls in difficult situations to identify their needs and provide programs to address these issues/needs.
We provide an academic support program, a life skill development program, hands on skills activities, networking program centered on community participation as well as one on one and group mentoring program.
The objectives of Maisha girls program are:
• Increase girl’s sense of self worth.
• Improve girl’s perspective towards education.
• Help girls define their short term and long term goals

The twinkles club (ages-10-12).
Meet weekly in a safe environment favorable for learning and having fun. In their meetings they express themselves through girl power support circles, arts and craft, drama and music. They also learn leadership development. Social skills dinning etiquette and cultural appreciation, health and wellness through age appropriate games and recreational activities.
The go girls club (ages 13-18).
Focuses on empowering girls across all economic levels. MYGI provides enrichment sessions on life skills, financial literacy, sponsorship linkages, workshops and missionary assignments to allow the girls to blossom, while assisting those who are less fortunate. Primary and high school students from various schools and backgrounds work together to learn that everyone has a gift to share and to focus on primary prevention activities.
