Petro Oil Kenya Limited is part of the Petro group of Companies; established over thirty years ago by Alnoor Jiwan with a single fuel filling station, over thirty years later the business has grown and expanded to cover the diversified but interrelated actives.

The group was founded on retailing fuel and this remains a core activity today with outlets across East Africa.

The groups brand is PETRO and it owns and operates over 100 stations, in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and Zanzibar serving the major capital cities such as Nairobi, Kampala and Dar es Salaam and the rural areas and major highways.
Mombasa is port by virtue of its Geographical positioning provides the entry points for importation of products for the “Northern Corridor” hence the Petro Group head office being in Mombasa.
