Racing Sport Gym - Nairobi, Kenya

I joined the gym on Dec. 30, 2015, negotiated a package that included all classes, towel service and two months of membership. I clearly indicated my primary interest was to attend aerobics classes. In good faith(and foolishly), I paid in full. I was told that in the event that a scheduled class did not have enough participants to operate, a trainer would be avaialable to work out with me. On my first day, there were not enough participants and a trainer was available. On Day 2, the manager implied that I was lying about what my membership entailed, and although it was written clearly on my contract, still indicated that I was mistaken. Again, there were not enough people for a class but no trainer was available. I asked to speak to someone about cancelling my membership and was informed that there were no cancellations, and that she was the person to speak to. I asked to speak to the owner, but was denied. I reviewed my contact and clause 7 said that I had three days to cancel the membership. I called the gym and was informed that I missed the cancellation window by one day. This gym does not provide what it advertises. Save your money and go elsewhere.
