Job offer: Front – End Developer IT

The Co-operative Bank of Kenya is seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Front-End Developer to enhance user experiences on web and mobile platforms. This role reports to the Head – Digital Products & Innovation Factory, and involves robust development and optimization of front end systems utilizing the latest technologies.

Key responsibilities include developing user-facing features, ensuring cross-browser compatibility, integrating with back-end services via APIs, maintaining application security, and collaborating with UI/UX teams to refine design processes. The candidate will also be involved in peer code reviews and continuous research to improve user satisfaction.

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, with a minimum of three years of experience in front-end development. Proficiency in modern development tools and practices, including responsive web construction, JavaScript frameworks (ReactJS, Angular, Vue.js), CSS preprocessors (SASS, LESS), and client-side scripting is essential.
