Job offer: Credit Officer Finance

Roots Credit Limited is a licensed Microfinance company in Kenya focusing on providing credit solutions for small and medium enterprises. Our offerings include Business Loans, Salary Loans, Asset Finance Loans, and Micro Credit Loans.

Job Purpose: The role involves screening and recruiting borrowers, booking quality loans into our portfolio, and promoting the company's products.

Education, Knowledge and Experience: A Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in finance, business administration, or a related field is required.

Competencies:

• Strong integrity with necessary background checks before onboarding.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in financial services.
• Expertise in lending procedures and strong risk assessment skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.

Primary Responsibilities: Responsibilities include aggressive marketing, assisting clients in loan applications, rigorous loan appraisal, ensuring compliance with pre-disbursement conditions, and maintaining quality documentation.
