Job offer: Procurement Cum Logistics Officer Mombasa

We are inviting applications for a Procurement and Logistics Staff member in Mombasa, Kenya for our soil improvement project. The role involves managing procurement activities and overseeing logistics for timely and cost-effective delivery of construction-related materials and equipment.

• Source and negotiate with suppliers for construction materials and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Issue and track purchase orders, ensuring materials are delivered as planned.
• Plan and oversee transportation schedules, liaising with customs for smooth import/export processes.
• Manage and audit on-site inventory to optimize resources.
• Maintain positive relationships with suppliers and evaluate their performance to boost service quality.
• Compile procurement, logistics, and inventory reports regularly.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in construction.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in relevant software and knowledge of Kenyan procurement regulations.
• Ability to travel as needed, with a valid driver's license.
