Job offer: Internal Auditor

Gross Salary: Kshs 100-120K

Our client, a premier Asset Management company regulated by the CMA and RBA, is seeking to employ an Internal Auditor. This role involves evaluating and enhancing internal controls, risk management, and governance processes. The successful candidate will audit, report, and advise on improvements for operational efficiency and compliance.

• Conduct risk assessments and identify significant risks in internal controls, compliance, operations, and financial reporting.
• Document work plans, test results, and conclusions, and ensure follow-up on findings.
• Provide expertise for investigations, audits, and as needed, guide external auditors to stay within guidelines.
• Contribute to Audit Committee meetings and align training programs with identified gaps.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, Finance, or related fields.
• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Information Systems Auditor qualifications preferred.
• Qualified accountant with credentials like CPA or ACCA, and a member of ICPAK/IIA in good standing.
• At least 4 years of experience in a related field.
