Job offer: Trade Liaison Senior Assistant

Annual Salary: $100,000 - $110,000

A prominent Japanese Trading & Investment company, with a global network including 100 overseas offices and over 300 subsidiaries, is looking for a Trade Liaison Senior Assistant. This role focuses on the development of activities related to Chemicals and Plastic materials.

The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in business development, specifically in chemicals or plastic materials, and capability to efficiently liaise with the headquarters and facilitate operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately and timely report required information to the Head Office and local Nairobi office.
• Conduct market research and coordinate business strategies for chemicals and plastics for East Africa.
• Develop relationships with local industries and suppliers to support Head Office’s trade activities.
• Identify and communicate new business opportunities to the Head Office.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in chemical or biological sciences is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant working experience.
• Strong communication, business acumen, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent language skills in English.
