Job offer: Legal Counsel

Rendeavour, Africa’s largest urban land developer, is seeking a legal professional who will offer general and strategic legal counsel across various areas of the organization, with a primary focus on litigation. This position involves managing litigation matters, overseeing external legal counsel, and advising on business-centric legal strategies. Additional responsibilities extend to handling corporate and commercial law, drafting and reviewing legal documents, and aligning legal practices with the organization’s goals.

• Oversee litigation and external legal counsel management.
• Optimize legal agreements and maintain a library of legal templates.
• Ensure legal tasks meet quality standards and deadlines.
• Rationalize the use of external legal advice.
• Support the in-house legal team in various capacities.
• Monitor legislation and advise on its impact on company operations.
