Job Description

Reporting to the Integrations Lead Fintech – Financial Services IT, this role involves enhancing existing solutions, providing technical support, monitoring applications for optimal performance, and ensuring system availability.

Key technical support activities include architecture optimization, incident management, automation of tasks, and documentation to ensure operational compliance.

• Enhance data/application reliability and monitor financial solutions like MPESA.
• Collaborate on, test, and implement new functionalities or upgrades.
• Maintain and update a technical knowledge base.
• Implement and maintain DevOps technologies.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
• Develop applications with Spring Boot and ensure robust, performant solutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a relevant technical role.
• Proficiency in databases, system monitoring, and software development.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
