Job offer: Team Leader Recoveries

Key Responsibilities:

• Approve recovery strategies and settlements, recommend proposals above limit to senior management.
• Allocate advocates, appoint investigators, and ensure prompt settlements.
• Monitor lawsuits against the insured and uphold regulations.
• Manage recovery officers, revise recovery processes, and ensure adherence to company policies.
• Provide management with updates and reports on recovery matters.
• Manage recovery costs to ensure profitability.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Develop strategies to achieve company targets.

Corporate Legal Responsibilities:

• Review legal contracts and oversee APA’s legal functions in litigation.

Generic Duties:

• Enhance staff performance, participate in CSR and management meetings.

Academic Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Law or equivalent.

Skills and Requirements:

• Leadership, teamwork, analytical skills, and ability to work under pressure.

Professional Qualifications:

• Diploma In Legal Practice preferred.

Experience:

• At least 5 years in insurance recoveries or claims management.
