Job offer: School Principal

Gross Salary: KES 80k – 100k.

Our Client is a Christian non-profit entity focused on elevating the lives of underprivileged children in Kenya through education to help break the poverty cycle.

The role of the Principal includes the development and maintenance of effective educational programs and enhancing the quality of teaching and learning within the school.

Responsibilities:

• Improve the operating effectiveness of the school.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge on educational practices and implement necessary changes.
• Supervise program development to cater to student needs and interests.
• Support teaching staff in curricular activities and ensure effective curriculum material usage.
• Manage staff selection, development, and evaluation to foster a positive educational environment.
• Coordinate with government agencies for student welfare and comply with educational policies.
• Maintain communication with parents about educational programs and student performance.
• Enhance school safety and maintenance protocols to ensure a conducive learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Education.
• At least 4-5 years of experience in a principal role.
• Valid teaching license.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Demonstrated passion for education.
