Job offer: GBV Case Worker

Reporting to: Sponsorship Officer

Salary: 40,000 – 50,000 Kshs

We are searching for a skilled GBV Case Worker with experience in social work and GBV to join our Christian non-profit school. The candidate should be adept in case management, counseling, and crisis intervention in a community-focused environment.

• Monitor children’s physical and mental health.
• Manage cases, provide counseling and cooperate on resolving GBV issues.
• Develop care plans and coordinate recovery services.
• Partner with community services for consistent client support.
• Document all case details and maintain organized records.
• Carry out community outreach and sensitization on GBV and related topics.
• Support clients' emotional well-being with a compassionate approach.
• Facilitate workshops on abuse, addiction, and GBV.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Social Work, or similar.
• At least 3 years with an international entity and 5+ years in community or non-profit roles.
• Proficient in both Swahili and English with relevant professional terminology.
• High degree of empathy and readiness to respond outside regular hours.
