The African Population and Health Research Center (APHRC) in partnership with multiple organizations including CIFOR-ICRAF and universities is undertaking the "Visibilizing Climate Change Impacts on Nutrition and Mental Health among Vulnerable Populations in East African Drylands" project. This initiative, funded by Wellcome, seeks to hire qualified quantitative field interviewers in Samburu, Turkana, and Laikipia counties.
Responsibilities include: participating in training, conducting household surveys, ensuring data quality, and reporting field challenges. Candidates must ensure ethical research practices and maintain confidentiality of collected data.
Requirements: Minimum of KCSE “C” plain or higher; experience in quantitative data collection; residency in the study counties; fluent in multiple languages depending on county; strong interpersonal skills; and full-time availability for the project duration.
