The African Population and Health Research Center (APHRC) is conducting a community-based participatory research project, NIHR-SHINE, focused on improving community health systems in Nairobi's informal settlements and rural Kiambu County, Kenya. This initiative looks to enhance the mental health, well-being, and agency of Community Health Promoters.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in training and data collection.
- Consent and interview participants.
- Ensure data quality and adherence to ethical standards.
- Compile daily reports and participate in project meetings.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum education of KCSE (C+) or higher.
- Proficiency in microcomputer applications and experience in electronic data capture.
- Fluency in English and Kiswahili or Kikuyu.
- Experience in quantitative/qualitative research methods.
- Availability for full-time involvement during the study.
