Job offer: Treasury Accountant

We are pleased to announce an opportunity for a Treasury Accountant in the FinTech industry located in Nairobi. This role focuses on managing the company's cash flow, executing transactions accurately, monitoring liquidity, managing client fund segregation, and upholding treasury policies in compliance with financial regulations.

• Ensure accuracy between payment reports and ledgers, setting up reconciliation where needed.
• Maintain daily cash balances, process payments, forecast cash flows, and monitor accounts for adequate funding.
• Collaborate with financial institutions to optimize services, integrate tech solutions, and maintain robust internal controls.
• Generate regular treasury reports and develop policies that align with company and industry standards.
• Support auditing tasks and contribute to management accounting reviews.

Qualified candidates should have at least 8 years of treasury experience, with a focus on the FinTech sector, and demonstrate proficiency in financial platforms like XERO or Sage.
