Our client, a corporate holding with six member companies in various sectors, is seeking a Managing Director for Manufacturing and Building Materials. This role involves overseeing operations, driving growth, ensuring product quality, and managing compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic plans for profitability and growth while aligning unit objectives with overall company strategy.
• Operational Management: Ensure efficiency, productivity and compliance within manufacturing units.
• Financial Management: Manage budgets and financial performance while identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Sales and Marketing: Collaborate with teams to enhance market share and customer relationships.
• Product Development: Lead innovations to address market needs.
• Supply Chain Management: Oversee procurement and logistics to optimize operations.
• Leadership Development: Foster a culture of improvement and support talent management.
• Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with regulations and address operational issues.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Engineering or related field; MBA preferred.
• 15 years of experience in manufacturing with 5 years in senior management.
• Proven expertise in operational management and Lean Six Sigma certification is preferred.
