Our client, a prominent multinational manufacturing company, is establishing a plant in Sultan Hamud, Kenya, and seeks to employ an HSE Specialist. The role involves implementing health, safety, and environmental regulations in line with both Kenyan and international standards.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the HSE function and cultivate an HSE culture within the company.
• Implement HSE procedures conforming to international standards.
• Audit HSE operations to ensure compliance.
• Develop and facilitate necessary HSE plans.
• Collaborate with contractors to improve HSE performance.

Qualifications:

• HND/B.Sc. in Engineering or Environmental Sciences.
• A minimum of eight years' experience with international HSE standards.
• Membership in relevant HSE professional bodies.
• Skills in auditing, resources management, risk management, and conflict resolution.
