Job offer: Head of Programs- West Africa Regional Office

The African Population and Health Research Center (APHRC), based in Nairobi with a regional office in Dakar, seeks a Head of Programs for its West Africa office. The selected candidate will lead program design and development, aligning with APHRC's mission to influence policy through robust research in Sub-Saharan Africa.

• Design and implement research programs, monitor progress, and secure funding.
• Lead a team, promoting an environment of teamwork and collaboration within the center.
• Ensure program compliance with ethical and regulatory standards.

Candidates should have a doctoral degree in a relevant field, over seven years of leadership experience, and a strong background in research management. Excellent command of both English and French and experience in Francophone West Africa are essential.
