Job Overview

The Global Alliance for Communities, being incubated within SHOFCO, facilitates systemic change across the Global South by empowering grassroots leadership. This role oversees strategic initiatives, partnerships, and advocacy, aiming to position the Alliance as a primary voice for community-based organizations globally.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead strategic initiatives and advocacy to transform power dynamics to local communities.
• Develop partnerships with key stakeholders and manage communications to elevate the Alliance's influence globally.
• Implement growth strategies for membership and provide administrative and operational support across diverse geographic locations.

Education Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 7 years’ senior management experience in international development.
• Strong leadership, project management, and interpersonal skills are essential. Proficiency in digital tools like Google Suite and WordPress is required.
