Purpose statement

The Accountant II role supports financial operations through routine tasks such as maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and policies.

Principal Accountabilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely transactions.
• Support budget preparation and monitor expenditure.
• Prepare financial reports and assist in audits and compliance with financial regulations.
• Manage cash flow and support procurement processes.
• Communicate with stakeholders regarding financial matters.

Requirements for Appointment

• A Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Accounting/Finance), Economics, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
