Job Role: Head of Finance and Administration at Youth Alive! Kenya (Y.A.K.)

This senior leadership role encompasses overseeing Youth Alive! Kenya's financial health and the efficiency of administrative operations, mandating effective financial management, strategic planning, and compliance with policies. Leading a team, the position aims to maintain accountability and transparency and support the organizational mission.

• Develop and implement financial policies for transparency.
• Prepare and monitor budgets with teams, manage cash flows, and uphold proper audits and compliance.
• Provide financial insights for strategic decisions and ensure resources align with organizational goals.
• Handle financial aspects of grant management and prepare accurate donor reports.
• Supervise administrative systems, manage assets, and oversee facilities for optimal operation.
• Lead the finance team, enhance their skills, and ensure alignment with the HR functions.

Qualifications: Bachelor's in Finance/Accounting/Business, with a preference for a Master's degree and professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA). At least 5 years of related experience, including leadership roles and managing donor-funded projects, is essential.
