Job offer: Cards Systems Technical Specialist

The Co-operative Bank of Kenya seeks a talented individual for our ICT team, focusing on Card systems and associated channels. The successful candidate will manage daily operations and administrative tasks of the Card System including issuing and acquiring modules, ATM, POS, and Card production.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize Card and E-Channels Systems for excellent business results and customer experience.
• Resolve user queries and system failures promptly.
• Coordinate with vendors through JIRA for system maintenance and issue resolution.
• Support system implementations, rollouts, and upgrades.
• Ensure systems security and implement business continuity procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent with at least 2 years of experience in Card systems and Channels support.
• In-depth knowledge of card schemes, Debit/Credit card operations, Linux/Unix environments, and security module protocols.
• Proficiency in database scripting, API technologies, and web services integration.
